Value for money
This hotel is conveniently located just outside the centre of the city. It is on what seems to be part of a university campus, and it is close to a bus link that takes you into the heart of the city. The hotel facilities are clean and well-maintained. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and the breakfast selection is massive and of good quality.
Nothing it was perfect.
We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The room was clean and tidy, and the beds were incredibly comfy. We were pleasantly surprised when we got upgraded to a family room upon arrival. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was amazing with a wide variety of options to choose from, including juice, cereals, a full cooked breakfast, tea, coffee. It was conveniently located within walking distance of the city centre, and it was next to Arthur's Seat, a famous tourist spot. The hotel also had great transportation links, making it easy to explore the city. Additionally, we loved the beautiful surroundings, which added to the overall experience.
Hard to think of anything.
The room was basic but clean and had everything I needed for a short stay. Free parking is available, which is convenient. The hotel is located in the old university complex, giving it a unique charm. The walk to breakfast was enjoyable, especially on a sunny day. The hotel is also within walking distance of the castle, bars, and restaurants in the area.
Nothing, it is perfect.
I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The room I was given was upgraded to a spacious family room, which was spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable. The breakfast spread was fantastic, with a wide variety of options including eggs cooked to order, fresh fruit, and good cheeses. The hotel is located in a quiet area, with a great view of the nearby Arthur's Seat. It is also conveniently close to downtown, making it easy to take a bus or walk into the city center. Additionally, being on the university campus next to Hollyrood Park allowed me to discover some excellent "off the beaten path" restaurants south of the city center.
Hard to think of anything.
We had a fantastic stay at The Scholar. The hotel facilities were excellent, with clean and comfortable rooms. The location on the university campus was perfect, providing a really quiet area in this city. It was easy to grab a cab or use public transportation right outside the hotel. The breakfast provided was delicious, and the staff were friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable.
Nothing, all good.
